Designing for a prestigious fellowship that supports cutting-edge biomedical research, the brand and website need to convey a deep sense of trust, professionalism, and scientific excellence. This was the core challenge for the EGLCF: to create a digital presence that felt as serious and important as the work it funds.
The process started with the very foundation: the logo. I designed a mark that is abstract and scientific, evoking molecular structures or cellular connections, while remaining clean and institutional. This set the tone for the entire website. The design is built on a foundation of structure and clarity, using a reserved colour palette, strong typography, and high-quality scientific imagery. We created a platform that is not only informative for potential applicants but also builds immediate credibility, reflecting the profound impact of the foundation's mission.
